- Suggest Applications
(1). Composite materials: SMC, BMC, pultrusion process, low profile and low shrinkage additive (LPA).
(2). Adhesives: solvent-based adhesives, coatings, hot-melt adhesives, soundproof panels, structural adhesives, toy foam adhesives, etc.
(3). polylactic acid (PLA) solubilizing and toughening modifier: biodegradable plastic field (attached with detailed instructions)
(4). Film forming agent: polyvinyl acetate alcoholysis polyvinyl alcohol.
(5). Others: water treatment membrane materials and components, military photographic film, etc.
- Solubility and Compatability
(1) Solubility: soluble solvent and monomer
Methyl (ethyl, propyl, butyl, amyl) acetate, (propyl, butyl, cyclohexane) ketone, styrene, di (tri) chloromethane, trichloroethylene, methyl methacrylate, methanol, ethanol (94%), isopropanol (90%), n-butanol, tetrahydrofuran, unsaturated resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, etc.
(2) Compatibility: compatible plasticizer
Plasticizer is added to PVAC resin to improve flexibility and viscosity, reduce heat sealing temperature and enhance water resistance. Coatings and adhesives containing PVAC resin usually need only a small amount of plasticizer to improve flexibility. Higher plasticizer content (20% or more) will greatly reduce the softening point and heat resistance of the adhesive, and improve the surface viscosity of the adhesive and coating containing PVAC.

Dibenzoate: diethylene glycol dibenzoate or dipropylene glycol dibenzoate,
Polymer plasticizer: polyadipate, Glyceryl triacetate
